I'm going to be honest, this year has been a rocky one for my budding photography business. I had so much momentum coming into 2019, I was feeling hopeful and inspired for the year. I was working on pushing past my comfort zone to really improve as a photographer. Yay! After many hours (spent mostly on the computer) my fiancé and I traveled to Costa Rica. We had an epic trip...really one for the books. I was SO excited to get my photos edited, shared, and even printed(yes, I believe they were that legendary) but on the last day, we realized our rental car was broken into and both my camera bag and drone were stolen. *Insert many tears and regrets here.* Ugh. I lost every photo except one. I actually laugh about it now, but at the time it was very soul-crushing.
So here I am almost 6 months later getting back to where I was: inspired, passionate, and empowered. Rebuilding my gear bag one lens, one battery, one accessory at a time... You better believe I have insurance now. :)
